Seafood Fried Rice add on seafood toppings Forgot to take photo before removing some of the toppings. There's more sotong, fish puff and prawns to my photo, mind. Gave this a go after seeing food blogger Oscar Sia's FB post on this. No regrets. The type of fried rice I like - fragrant with eggs and spring onion. Thumbs up from me.

Deep Fried Fish Cake

Deep Fried Fish Cake RM10 Can't go wrong with this dish. Pan fried to golden perfection. Not oily and no rancid oil tasted. Comes with sweet chilli sauce. Ordered this for sharing but I probably can gobble down one portion all on my own haha.

Char Kuey Teow

Seafood char kuey teow RM13 Good portion (fulfilling) of kuey teow and toppings including pre-fried prawns, fish, sotong and 鱼腐 (Are they called fish puff in English? Someone enlighten me please thank you). The shop (and kitchen as far as we can see) was clean and breezy. Looking forward to dine in one day.

Kolombong Gem

The thing about Kolombong is that there's quite a number of lowkey gems. Ones that are greater, or should I say better than all those big fancy names. Hopefully they're here to stay, and if widely known eventually, to hold on to their standards. Kopitiam Nelayan II got a thumbs up from my fussy old man. The meehoon soup he had in store was, quoting him "fresh fish. Not bad" whilst our grabfood stir frys got an "Okay. No rancid/reused oil like a lot of premises". Give it a go, seafood lovers.
