🌶️ Sambal Without Spices, Service Without Smiles 🙅🏻‍♀️

I visited this restaurant after seeing several positive reviews. Ironically, what really stood out, was the disappointing service and foods presentation. Mr Hubby ordered an iced Yuen Yang to dine in, however one of the young female service crew with spectacles mistakenly entered into system as takeaway. When I called and corrected her about Mr Hubby’s drink, she was neither apologetic nor polite, also her dismissive attitude made the interaction truly unpleasant. As for the food, I had high expectations for the nasi ayam penyet, especially the hot oozing egg yolk. Instead, I was served a cold, nearly hard-boiled egg, which is a letdown. The sambal/chilli lacked any real spiciness and taste like chilli with lots of mixture, and the only redeeming part of the dish was the crispy skin of the deep-fried chicken. The ambiance was comfortable with air conditioning thus making it pleasant. Overall, the food was underwhelming and lacked the "wow" factor I was hoping for. Kthxbye.

Better than expected

Taste is better than average, portion is quite big too! Loved the ayam penyet chicken was very juicy and tender. The egg tarts were very nice too (no photos taken haha), just that I think it's quite expensive, RM4.70 for one small piece

气到～～！！Bad food make u angry 😬😵😵

I seldom angry with food, but this kopitiam makes me makin makan makin angry😂😂😂 你懂得气到哭笑不得讲不出话的感觉吗？ Service: I went in, sit in the middle table, no staff serve me, they juz passby me, although there are quite a few staffs.... Until i sendiri panggil staff to get menu few mins later..... I order 1st round: Order bill keluar, but Portugese egg tart, nyonya pie tee, no available, at 1pm I order 2nd round: Order bill out dy, but Mee Tikus no available, change to CKT Polo bun: The worst i have tried in my life! Thick tough low quality butter crust.... Tough bread body... 😬😬😬 i dun wan to say more Roti Kahwin: really want to cry, look at the burnt crust....tough, difficult to tear apart...😵😵😵 i better dun say more CKT: ok, 6.5/10. dry, a bit burnt, but edible compared with the other 2 Menu: wanna cry when c the menu, jyz like budak punya simple 70gsm A4 paper colour print, 3 side staples, crumpled paper lagi Deco not bad, one row style seating arrangement, ada aircon, ice water very icy oso, but couldn't cool me down, makin tasting makin geram Bye bye, now baru soft opening, a lot a lot a lot of rooms for improvement Suggestion: Train ur staff 1st, focus on little presentable punya food menu 1st, dun eat burnt bread crust ya, no good for health...
