🗺️ What Is the Borneo Adventure Hunt?
The Borneo Adventure Hunt is a real-world adventure spread across iconic locations throughout Kota Kinabalu city. Participants travel between checkpoints around KK, scan hidden physical markers, and unlock digital wonders that come to life right before their eyes.
Think city treasure hunt. Think magic on your phone screen. Think something you have never experienced before ,all in one.
Whether you are a local, a family, a visitor, or simply someone with a sense of adventure and a smartphone, this event was made for you.
🔍 How It Works
Ready to hunt? Here is your field guide:
- Step 1: Download Reviewbah App and tap the floating AR button in the app.
- Step 2: Explore the Checkpoints – Navigate to designated checkpoints scattered across Kota Kinabalu city. Each location has been chosen for its cultural, commercial, or scenic significance — every stop is an adventure in itself.
- Step 3: Hunt for the Hidden Object – At each checkpoint, search for a physical AR trigger marker hidden in plain sight around the city. A clue will be given!
- Step 4: Scan & Unlock the AR World – Scan the marker. Watch a 3D Augmented Reality model materialise in front of you – creatures, icons, and wonders of Borneo brought to life through your screen.
- Step 5: Catch It – Interact with the AR model and capture it , because in this hunt, every catch counts.
- Step 6: Strike a Pose & Share – Take an epic photo with your catch and share it on social media or through the platform. Show the world what you found in the wild.
- Step 7: Claim Your Rewards – Every successful catch earns you reward vouchers redeemable with our participating local vendors. The more you hunt, the more you win.
