🍳 From Oyaku Katsu to O-YUCK-U Can’t Do 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mr. Hubby had been craving their sizzling oyaku katsu rice for a while, so we headed to the Plaza 333 branch to satisfy his cravings, also weekend dinner. The service crew greeted us warmly, and our orders were taken promptly — we both went for the same dish, with me adding a miso soup on the side. My excitement quickly faded when the food arrived. The usual vibrant yellow from the egg was completely absent; instead, the entire dish was just dull brown. Mr. Hubby even wondered if our orders had been mixed up. Anyhow, his disbelief turned into silent disappointment after confirmed with me. To make matters worse, the breading on the chicken katsu was excessively thick, making it heavy and unappetizing with the brown sauce. I couldn’t ignore the déjà vu — during my first visit, I ordered the lamb chop, which was so salty I couldn’t finish it and bone part. I ended rinsing it with water. I can’t tolerate such inconsistent quality any longer. The Suria Sabah branch does a far better job. The only silver lining this time was the Grab’s weekend dine-in deals. Kthxbye.

Teppanya from Imago

I haven’t had this for a long time and this time i had this at imago’s branch. They actually started this at oceanus which I had my first bite there and it was good. But I guess after a long while their taste wasn’t as good as before? It’s always like this when it’s newly open it taste good but after awhile the taste “jalan” liao hahaha or maybe is it just me? 🫣 Anyhoo, the food isn’t bad but could be nicer hahaha but since it’s been awhile I couldn’t comment much.

Japanese Cuisine | Teppanya Cafe & Bar in Plaza 333

The food was good, and portions are big too (says all 6 of us). We almost couldn’t finish our foods, but it’s only our thoughts because we are quite a small eater. The fried chicken wings were a little salty, but I like it! Taste so good 😍

🥘Teppanya Cafe & Bar, Imago 祝我生日快乐💗 ʕっ˘ڡ˘ςʔ 那天晚餐我们去了 @teppanyakk 庆祝生日我们点了👇🏻 Katsu Curry Rice RM24.90 日式咖喱饭，那间店的招牌美食～看Menu以为只有一片鸡肉，谁知道看到买家秀后傻眼！居然那么大片的鸡肉！！！🥺 开饭先必须在鸡肉淋上阿拉丁神杯的咖喱汁～然后就会听见滋～滋～滋的铁板烧声音✨这里的咖喱不辣，口味还好，颜色比平时吃的咖喱深一点～鸡肉很咸，吃多了很腻哦～鸡肉上撒了很多芝士🧀 抓起炸鸡肉的时候会有拉丝～～～ʕ♡˙ᴥ˙♡ʔ 一人一盘真的很大份，以后可以2个人share share吃一份🥘

Small Portion Sizzling Beef Rice 🍽

1. The food was tasty, but the portion was a little small for the price. 2. I ordered the beef rice ( RM 21.9 ) as you can see only 4 slices for the sliced beef and totally not enough to eat.
