💚 Green Kaya Mochi & Ayam Masak Merah 🍗

This new Nyonya-inspired restaurant has been open for a month. The place is simply decorated with Nyonya outfits, but I adore the detailed design and tiles. I arrived late, so there weren't many kuih selections left. I ordered the green kaya mochi, hot and iced yuen yang, and prawn and oyster egg with rice. Unfortunately, I was told the prawn and oyster egg was out of stock after my order placed then I changed my order to ayam masak merah instead. Honestly, they need to improve their management as me and Mr Hubby ordered similar drinks, but mine arrived early while his were late together with my meal. The ayam masak merah was spicy and quite disappointing as it served separately with plain white rice without any plating, making it very unattractive. However, the kaya mochi had a thin skin with a thick filling. The staff mentioned the filling was homemade, but it was just okay for my taste. Kthxbye.
