Best of both world

I have never guessed a restaurant could have the best of both worlds. After Ian had been promoting how exquisite the Wagyu beef was at this restaurant,I came and give it a try. I have known the existence of the shop, just haven’t got the push for me to try what’s nice. At the first glance of the menu, I was stunned by the signature roast pork platter (RM24). It looked amazing, it was done in traditional Chinese style, and I thought I must order to try it out. And god forbid me for eating almost all of it from the plate. The skin, so crunchy, the layer of lard complementing the thickness of the pork was just 👌. None of the stale oily taste of the roasted pork that stayed too long on the shelves, just the perfect roast paving the way for main meal. It even had cucumber for you to cleanse your palate should you find it too greasy. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Eager to try more, I’ve initially wanted to go for Whisky 🥃 Pork Belly which was unfortunately ran out on a Sunday evening and ordered Signature Belly Ribs (RM40) instead. It that was marinated for 24 hours and slow cooked over 8 hours. So you can imagine when I popped the meat in my mouth, it instantly melts without any effort. Their secret sauce was tad bit too overpowering for me, but the pork ribs soaked it all in alright. Their sides, mashed potatoes was interestingly mixed with some small but not annoying chunks of potatoes, which gave it the nice texture to munch on. The greens, with the balsamic vinegar mixed at just right portion also made it nice to dine with. In the end, the rib was licked clean. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I came for the beef, of course I’ve ordered Angus Sirloin Steak (RM98). Given the amount of food we were trying, I’ve decided to keep the legendary Wagyu Ribeye for another day. The medium steak 🥩 was exactly what we’ve been expecting it to be. Nicely charred grilled marks, evenly cooked with just nice juiciness left within, spread the butter all over it, and you’re good to go. Eat it on its own, the beef was tender and not chewy. It might not be Wagyu, but whatever layer of fat it offers here still heavenly smooth on your tongue 😛. The sides slightly differs with some grilled vegetables and potatoes. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ half All prices are subject to 10% service charge.
