Brought my geng mkn to try the butod, anyhow it left the last one so I gave my brother to try. The staff told me an African guy ate 6 by himself the day before.
Butod is seasonal thus it's suggestible to make reservation firsthand via WhatsApp to avoid disappointment upon arrive.

Deep fried battered milkfish
I've been eating deep fried milkfish at different restaurant, yet theirs are the perfect define of crispy to perfection. Served with their turmeric chilli lime soup, chilli sambal & steamed purple brown rice, excellent!
Original Sabahan set meal
It's terrific, always! Bambangan (wild mango) still out of stocks, so they replaced with pumpkins.
Oh my balls!
Meatballs with gravy & sweet sauce, it fall apart when I picked up using forks but it's okay, the gravy is delicious.
Soda
Carbonated soda with coloured syrup. It's their new menu & under promotion currently. Good for quench thirst especially craving for iced cold beverages in hot weather.
Fried rice gaman with deep fried panko chicken cutlet
Fried rice is pleasant, however the mid part of the chicken is raw. I informed the staff & owner, they apologies & refund the meal.
Despite simple & cozy restaurant ambient, I enjoyed their polite, helpful & attentive services which is why I keen on return whenever I'm craving.
