OishiMori BBQ Japanese Restaurant

I don’t usually leave a review but this experience is too unique that made me wanted to do it so badly. I don’t even know where to begin with. This is a sushi buffet that cost RM39.90 per pax. There is an alacart menu but we were told we can’t order from it and can only go for the buffet option. First off the cacat ordering rules. For an example, when you order a set of salmon sushi, you’ll think you’ll get 2 pcs of salmon sushi right? Not in this place, you’ll get 10 pcs instead. YES 10 PCS FOR A SET. I seriously do not understand why would they want to implement this rule. Unless you’re eating with a lot of people or else in cases like mine where i only have 3 pax eating, you wouldn’t get to enjoy a lot of variety since ordering 4-5set would already get us full. Plus i am the only one that like to eat raw food, so mean if I order 1 set salmon sushi I‘ll have to finish all 10 pcs by myself like………wut? “But oh you can just order up to 10 set per pax and there’s no penalty for not finishing the food” they said. Which leads to my 2nd point: Waste of food. I saw so many food wasted on the other tables where the customers just ordered a lot of sushi but couldnt finish it because of this 10pcs per set rule. So they just eat the ingredients on top of the sushi and left the rice behind. It’a like AT LEAST 2-30 pcs of sushi rice left behind on each table. I KENNOT MY HEART ACHE FROM JUST LOOKING AT IT and thirdly, slow serving time oh my goodness this. This is what potong steam the most. We ordered 8 set of sushi in total, and for the duration of one and a half hours we were there, we were only served 4 sets of sushi in total. They only served our first plate 40mins after ordering it and that is only because my friend keep bother the waitress about it. Then after the first 2 plate we have to wait another 30min to get our 3rd and 4th plate to come. When asked where is the salmon we ordered then only they inform us the salmon is not available………….…...????? In the end we were too pissed to wait for the rest to come so we left instead. Food taste wise is so-so. O-torii taste better than this. Just poor poor poor management and I kesian the staffs that work there that have to deal with pissed customers all the time.

Sushi buffet at latitude 6..the sushi is ok for me but a bit overpriced since the ingredients used is not expensive where I even did not see unagi so far.. Maybe on that day did not provide.. #foodinkk #foodgasm #foodpornsabah
