🥟 Timeless Twist; Chicken & Century Egg Dumplings 🐔

Eating Lei Cha once a week, sometimes twice is my routine to detoxify my liver and intestines after indulging in rich and flavorful foods in the weekend. Lei Cha, or known as Pounded Tea is considered Hakka healthy dish with various benefits; - I. Rich in nutrients; from seeds to brown rice, a mix of herbs and nuts in the broth rich in antioxidants. II. Detoxifications; the combinations of greens and herbs detoxify and support liver health. III. Promote gut health; rich in high fibre promote gut health and regular bowel movements. IV. Low fat and calories; light plant based foods hence suitable for weight management. This time, I paired with their chicken and century egg dumplings. The chicken meats texture tends to be leaner and firmer also taste lighter, non greasy as well. This Chinese eatery doesn’t serve pork, so most of the meat dishes on their menu feature chicken. Some customer came for their Lei Cha or Curry noodle. Kthxbye.
