🥖 Bánh Mì? More Like Bánh Mèh… 🫥

I want to eat bánh mì and decided to try this famous spot after they announced they had relocated some time ago. I placed my order, paid through WhatsApp, and mentioned the time I’d be there for pickup. Unfortunately, when I arrived the place, it seemed like no one was aware of my orders. I had to tell them again about my orders and payment through WhatsApp, then the boss ladies instructed her staff to prepare it. The bánh mì is wrapped in a thin gray paper secured with cellophane tape and put inside a plastic bag. The bread is incredibly crispy, but it contains pathetically few slices of fatty BBQ pork and some pickled vegetables. This bánh mì is lousy, the fillings have unbalanced ratio of meats, pickled vegetables and no herbs, lack of flavourful sauces, it doesn’t deliver the taste evenly and leaving the whole thing too little and unsatisfying.
