Okay, if you’re a true coffee fan, you NEED to try the coffee bun at Breadboss. It isn’t your average morning pick-me-up from other bakeries; it’s a bold, barista-level coffee experience on top of a soft bun.
It’s not always on the shelf, so I have to make an effort to drop by and see if it’s there. And finally, today… they have it!!!

I took Mr Hubby out for a weekend brunch date to check out this spot, and they happened to have jackfruit slice cake that day! I was so excited to get one for him since he loves jackfruit. Along with that, I ordered…

🍞 Zack’s slow braised beef on sourdough
I’d say everything was splendid as it looked, but Mr Hubby wasn’t too happy with the size of the beef patties though. He mentioned they were smaller and didn’t quite match the appearance in the menu photo.

After our late lunch date at Gerid Kitchen, I went inside to check out their fresh pastries and pick up a dessert.
I bought two pizza buns (MYR2.90, not in pictures) and several thick slices of banana cake (MYR8) for my family.
The service crew offered to reheat the banana slices before takeaway, but I preferred to do it at home.
What I appreciated was the absence of artificial banana flavours; the cake was made with pure, fresh banana paste.
The prices were reasonable, and I paired it with a cup of hot mocha. My brother said the pizza bun was dreadful.

🍚16 Hours Slow Cooked Beef Stew Rice
- It has a tough, chewy texture and lacks of flavor. It just like microwave beef stew ( some areas of the beef stew extremely hot 🥵)

- The waitress had a neutral expression while serving this cup of latte. She didn’t seems pleased to be there, sad latte.

Had a decent breakfast. An extremely cozy cafe where you could sit and enjoy your meal all day long. Nice selection of baked treats and desserts. There is no wifi here, not suitable for those who wants to open laptop.

The food is good! I had beef something something sourdough, and the beef is so juicy and so tender 🤤
Good drinks, good food, and small space so whenever it’s full house, either gotta wait or just go to plan B 🤭
Hope this place will consider for extension though.. they also sell varieties of pastries!

🍚 16 Hours Slow Cooked Beef Stew Ricebowl RM16
This is a bowl of goodness! 🤤 The beef is very soft and tender, it’s not dry at all albeit being slow cooked for that many hours. Feta cheese 🧀 really just takes the flavour to the next level. The scrambled eggs 🍳 have a fluffy and creamy texture, with a slight buttery taste to it. Such a satisfying and filling lunch! 💯🫶

Tastes like a medium-dark roast, less acidic and has a light nutty aroma 😋
Love the cozy environment and wooden furnitures that give a nostalgic feel 🪵💫
