I'm absolutely smitten with homemade pastries & a big shout-out to Cravings.You for their delightful assortment of flavoured cake slices & choux puffs!
Here's the rundown of the flavours I've had the pleasure of savoring:
Berry Cheese Cake
The presentation was absolutely stunning, it was crystal clear that the blueberry jam was lovingly homemade. I could taste & see those delightful blueberry bits in it. It struck a perfect balance of sweetness, tanginess & just a hint of savoury notes.
Houjicha with Adzuki Bean
It took me by complete surprise. The roasted tea essence coupled with the burst of slight sweetness from the adzuki bean, hence created a flavour explosion on my palate. Truly an unexpected delight.
54% Dark White Chocolate with Ganache
I adore the combination of chocolate & ganache in my cake. It's wonderfully delicious & has a delightful hazelnut-chocolate flavour. Initially, I assumed it was milk chocolate with hazelnut but it turned out to be pleasantly sweet & enjoyable.
Mr Boyfriend is a huge fan of the black & white sesame choux puff. The caramel filling inside complements the sesame aroma of the choux puff perfectly. Such a remarkably unique fusion of Asian & Western pastry flavours.
