Time really flies—it’s been almost two years since I last wrote about this place back in 2023, and I finally made my way back to see what’s new. I’m so glad I did because they’ve truly stepped up their game and left me wowed all over again! They’ve added a new dim sum series—the choices may be limited, but every bite speaks volumes. I ordered… HK Yuen Yang (less ice, less sugar) Bean curd skin with beef balls Royal crystal prawn dumplings Shunde Porridge (shedded pork stomach, roasted duck, egg, dried squid, peanuts and slices of deep fried dough) The standout for me? The bean curd skin with beef balls. I taste bits of turnip in the beef balls, giving them crunchy texture and a gentle hint of natural sweetness that just made my heart (and taste buds) sing. The porridge was comforting and full of flavour, though definitely something you’ll want to finish while it’s still warm to enjoy it at its best. The portion served is just right and enough for meself. And can we talk about the drinks? I’m absolutely in love with their transparent plastic soda cans—such an unique touch! Just make sure to request it specifically from the staff, or you’ll get the usual glass instead. Overall, this visit reignited my love for this place. From the thoughtful new menu items to the small details that make dining memorable, I left happy and already planning my next trip back. They’ve also changed their opening hours to 7:30 AM, which I noticed a few regulars and tourists were already enjoying. I feels so good and still pleasantly surprised. Kthxbye.

I never knew there was a cafe spot in Tanjung Aru that sells our local comfort foods!! The taste was so so but the interiors, spaces, design are simple, chill with a modern kopitiam twist 🪢

The Hong Kong Style milk tea was good, food ok.. Sadly mostly food sold out, maybe due to CNY, business was good,

Wanton soup- Soup base not cincai, thick broth, 🦆🐔taste, 点点滴滴真材实料 Polo Pork Chop- Polo Bun so so, Pork chop not bad 价格贵一点点,环境舒服很多点 Cozy, easy to find parking, pricey a bit, RM28 Wantanho, but my fren said very worth

Saw @HumanBurrito.bki review then come and try this. Had their Polo Bun with Fried Chicken, it was like burger more than Polo Bun xD They operate in a house but with quite nice interior, even sit outside also feel like quite chill. Quite alot of people came for lunch. Can come and try their others food

After my previous visit, I've been contemplating my must-try-dishes for the next time I return. During tea time one late afternoon, I invited Mr Boyfriend to accompany me. I ordered my selections & here's my thoughts; Stewed beef brisket & tendons served with steamed veggie rice The beef tendons was exceptionally tender, which practically melted in my mouth - absolutely a true delight for the palate. The beef stewed gravy was thick with flavours that it best pair with extra bowl of rice. Polo bun with fried chicken chop The color of polo bun was not golden yellowish. The taste was decent but somewhat bland. The chicken chop & mayonnaise manage to elevated the flavors bit but kinda dry. The hot yuen yang tasted even better after adding brown sugar but not stir. Parking limited but available most of the time. Kthxbye.

They made an announcement about it earlier this year on Facebook & I've been eagerly anticipating it ever since. I arrived there before 8am, however their business didn't start until 0830am. I've a soft spot for Hong Kong themed coffee shop because I grew up watching Hong Kong movies. This coffee shop combines nostalgic Hong Kong style with modern interior design & vintage furniture. Here's what we've ordered: Fresh fish fillets + fish paste soup noodle The noodle tasted bland as they were cooked separately. The fish soup was thick & succulent, with fresh fish fillets & firm handmade fish paste. Cheese baked chicken chop on rice Despite the seemingly small portion of fried rice, it filled me up quickly. They used cheese slice with a carbonara sweet sauce like & baked to perfection. The deep-fried chicken was overcooked though. Yuen yang milk tea (hot) Hong Kong milk tea (hot) Hot beverages were just okay. They serve it with a packet of brown sugar. They refrain from over-seasoning the dishes therefore allowing me to savor & enjoy the freshness & authentic flavours without overwhelming my palate, which is ideal for my taste. It has the same owner as 12 Dining which located at the 1st floor of the house. Limited parkings available. You can find their location at Google Map. They accept cash, card & e-wallets for payments. Kthxbye.
