So we decided to chill at GRANDE by SF after a hot day around Dah Yeh area, avoiding the usual traffic chaos in Damai area. I ordered the affogato with choc soft serve, expecting that perfect mocha vibe again, but it came in a disposable cup?? I was really hoping for the fancy ice cream coupe they show in their reel—maybe they ran out of them, huhu.... My friend went for the Lemon Bliss flower tea, but honestly, it tasted like regular chrysanthemum tea you could easily brew at home—no “blissful” lemon flavour too.... The matcha latte with Niko Neko was decent, but let’s be real—good matcha is all about the ratio. Even the best brand won’t save it if the amount used is too little. We also tried the strawberry bomboloni, churros with dark chocolate & caramel sauce, and Earl Grey lychee cake. The bakes were fine, but honestly, I’ve had better elsewhere. Now, here’s a sight I didn’t expect—there was a mini windmill fan sitting inside the display counter, right next to the croissants. Not sure if it was there to keep the pastries crisp, prevent condensation, or just scare off sneaky flies. The pastries must’ve signed up for VIP airflow service. Gotta stay fresh. Need to ask the staff next time! 😂 I actually wanted to visit Anomaly (sadly, they’re closed on Saturdays), but next time, we’ll be checking out other spots for something a bit more exciting. Honestly, we’re not the type to revisit the same café unless it’s super impressive. We’re all about exploring new spots only, since café hopping can burn a hole in our pockets! 😆 P/S: Oh, also tried their limited edition yuzu matcha soft serve with edible gold flakes before, not bad, but Nigocha Matcha is still my go-to. 😌

Here's a cafe without signboard and a pivot door. They serve pastry, cakes and goat milk soft serve. Personally thinks that it's on the pricey side. Croissant is simple but nicely done and give their soft serve a go.

Nice coffee, croissant okay okay...

I visited the cafe second times again for their yummy goat milk soft serve, also to indulge their pastries since my brother spoke highly of heir tiramisu. They've their very own supply of pastries. Each pastry is exquisitely adorned with edible flowers, resulting in stunning & delicately presentation. I opted for the goat milk soft served in cup, accompanied by with 1 topping, the must-try tiramisu, along with a slice of earl grey lychee cake. The tiramisu was decent. The cake texture was slightly firm though (my brother agreed), prolly have been put overnight. The mascarpone cream was delightful. The Earl Grey Lychee was just alright, lacking the strong earl grey flavours, also no 'wow' factor. Personally speaking, the flavor was somewhat bland too. Service crews are courteous, well-trained youngsters. Warm ambience inviting with air conditioning. As the night falls, serene atmosphere envelops the place. It offering a quieter & more peaceful environment compared to bustling daytime with busy street & limited parkings. They accept cash & e-wallets for payments. Kthxbye.

Not much choices yet on their menu but their cake is really nice! Iced chocolate taste is not what I like but the orange juice is yummy!😋 Definitely will visit again to try out another flavours of their cakes~

I'm over the moon when I found out there's goat milk soft serve available at a local cafe because I love soft serve very much! Customer can choose to get it either with cone (5 types), cup or affrogato (hot espresso or matcha), also cute toppings. According to their staff, oreo & lotus cone are customer's favourite & regular order. I got mine oreo cone then. The soft serve is made with premium karihome goat milk powder. Also, it's known more nutritious than cow's milk. There's slightly gamey taste which is normal for goat's milk. I really love it, I'll go again to try it with matcha affogato. They accept cash & QR code for payment. Polite service crews. Limited parking. Checkout my ig;_humanburrito.bki.
