I recently visited Hanakoya Flower Café, and it was truly an enchanting experience that felt like stepping into a serene garden. The café's interior is beautifully adorned with fresh and preserved flowers, creating a tranquil, almost magical ambiance. The thoughtful decor sets the perfect mood for a leisurely and intimate dining experience.
For takeaway, I tried the Penang Holiao, which featured a crispy waffle paired with homemade Pu Er gelato. While the waffle was delicious, I found the Pu Er ice cream’s flavor to be quite light and subtle, not as strong as I expected.
The dish was beautifully topped with fresh flowers and complemented by local Rojak prawn sauce, oat cookies crumble, and organic osmanthus honey, making it a delightful and unique creation. The ice cream was thoughtfully packed in a paper cup, adding an eco-friendly touch.
One thing to note is that the price is a bit on the higher side, but given the creativity, ambiance, and quality of the dishes, it’s still a memorable experience worth indulging in.

Food portion not big, not enough for lelaki
Side dish Truffle French Fries more portion than burger, but not freshly crunchy.... anyway, not oily
Burger bun is cold, chicken is nice, nice seasoning & combination of ingredients
Katsu is nice too
Beautiful Environment, together with florist & balloon area.

不知道是不是情人节的关系。 食物真的很不好吃。真的不会再来也非常不推荐 。只有一位员工在serve customer, 服务是好的但是一个人真的会有一点慢
-脆脆的面包一点都不配那个干干的smoke salmon
-salad 吃的怀疑自己是不是一头牛，为什么一点味道都没有？ 虾也干干没有味道
- 汤的颜色很诡异，味道是酸的
- salmon 就像在沙漠晒了很多天，非常无敌的干，皮又软软咬不断，也没有味道， sauce 只有哪珍贵的4滴 ，配菜也非常糟糕
- 那个黑黑的甜点真的真的焦了🔥,外面非常苦因为焦了的关系然后里面又无敌的黏，感觉像吃麦芽糖🫠终止就不能吃 。 那个yuzu tart 幸好可以吃,黏黏酸酸的。 草莓最好很大颗

Today is a rainy day. Today we went to a very sweet Hanakoya Cafe. My hubby used to buy me their flowers but nowadays he found a cheaper place to buy flowers. :)
We ordered a ikat ikat tea something that is with pu er. A normal hot chocolate and a set of wrap with fries.
Food was okay, I love the environment because i love flowers and there is flowers everywhere 🫠🫠🥰🥰🌟🌟

Hot weather today, so we were looking for some places with aircon in Metro Town.
1) Belgian Dark Chocolate Madness (RM19.90)
- As per how it’s described in menu (waffle with chocolate gelato, decorating with seasonal fruits), we expected some good crispy waffle with premium ingredients based on the price given. However, the end result was very disappointing. Waffle arrived in small portion, ‘gelato’ half melted, fruits in super tiny pieces. And please, do not describe your ice cream as ‘gelato’ when it tasted like the cheapest chocolate ice cream I could get anywhere out there. They were using some cheap oranges too, it’s sour.
2) Carrot Tango Crush (RM18)
- Carrot + Apple. Healthy taste with lots of fiber. Given the price, I do hope they were using Australia carrot for the juice 😆.
Completely understand that there’s lots of fixed costs (staff, rental, water & electricity, cleaning etc) for restaurant / cafe so they mark up the price to maintain the operation. But please have some quality control on your ingredient when you are charging such premium price on the food / drinks you serving. If so, I would be more than happy to pay for it since the environment is nice and comfortable.

I love the French toast there! This is the new version, the old version French toast was very good too!
Love the taste of cinnamon, the toast crunchy and yet soft inside. There is generous spread of peanut butter in the French toast as well.
I had refreshing icy tea drink (I can’t remember the name) but it was indeed very refreshing.
Will visit again and again!
