Fook Yuen famous butter gaya bread one set for RM2.20, thick butter and gaya inside, worth it!
Fresh soy for RM2.75.
Including tax only RM4.95!
Definitely a good place for breakfast at Damai

我不知有没有tag 对这个富源但是我买的是在 Damai 那间 。。 下午买茶水的时候看见摆在 cashier 后面看起来好像很好吃所以买了 。。 各人觉得他们的 nasi lemak 好吃不会很辣还有他们的 pulut panggang 也 ok 。

Fook Yuen Damai is always my favourite place to get wholemeal toasts with 2 soft boiled eggs & hot tea/coffee madras.
Fast & efficient service with affordable prices & hygienic place. Sometimes it's hot sitting inside due to the weather & crowds.
While I'm indulging my regulars, my friend ordered Penang Char Kuey Teow with duck egg from opposite kopitiam.
Despite the beautiful brown color & wok hei (seared burnt taste), anyhow it's tasteless... The sambal wasn't nice either...

read many reviews on how good this place was so we decided to give it a try for breakfast.
🍞🍳 roti kahwin (toast bread) - butter & homemade kaya, bread was crispy and went well w the eggs 8/10
🍜 economy bihun - you’ll get to pick the sides of your choice (there are a variety to choose from) but we thought the bihun was quite bland and not up to the standard 6/10

Despite of that, this is the restaurant i always go ta pao… many choices of food to add on to ur mihun/mee/ keow teow.
Normally packed with people and hot during the day.

Before Kopiboy, we've Kedai Kopi Fook Yuen. Famous for their wholemeal toast or white bread kahwin (coconut jam with butter), soft boiled egg & Neslo.

Varieties of choices.
No wonder it's full with regular customers daily. Mostly are elders who talk loud & noisy ambiance, the sound of tearista making beverages.
Customer may inform the boss where one would like to sit. Inside is crowded, always. Those who prefer personal space may choose to sit outside.
I sat inside & I felt hot. Despite full speed volume of the ceiling fans speed but due to the hot water, bread toasting, cars exhaust around, so yeah.
I love the crispy wholemeal toast dipped into the pool of soft boiled egg. Taste heavenly when the rich butter & coconut jam with the soft boiled egg yolk.
The main problem to visit this kopitiam is the parking issues. Anyhow, parking seems tolerable nowadays especially after busy hours.

Had bread and nasi lemak at fook yuen damai yesterday. Very crowded.
Nasi lemak is really tasty. Roti kahwin is super soft. Locals favourite.

I come here always when I don't know what to eat. Seems like we can buy bread and put kaya spread, and eat at home. But no, I'm too lazy for that. So I want to drive here and eat here.
Sometimes I order toast, sometimes steam. With kopi O kurang manis. Cheap and taste good.
The place is not clean, sempit, and hot. But still, many people are just like me, don't know what to eat so come here.
