Chef Kamarul has introduced an affordable lunch menu featuring creamy melted cheese and Napoli spaghetti along with Balinese style charcoal grilled dishes. We had the… 🐟 Ikan Bakar - charcoal grilled fish Balinese style on banana leave served with chef’s sambal, ulam, tempeh cubes and steamed white rice. 🍗Ayam Bakar - charcoal grilled marinated whole chicken thigh served with chef’s sambal, ulam, tempeh cubes and steamed white rice. Both dishes were excellent however we loved the chicken more. The marination was spot on and the charcoal grilling added a smoky depth that elevated the flavour. The marination infused the meat while the open flame imparts the smoky aroma that is simply irresistible. Each bite bursts with the charred smokiness and sambal. The tilapia fillets grilled on banana leave, coating them with sambal to create a flavour that’s both spicy and smoky, perfectly complementing the tender fish. Kthxbye.

Exciting news! La Veranda has welcomed Chef Kamarul, a culinary expert with 24 years of experience in 5-star hotels and luxury fine dining. He has introduced some of his signature dishes to the menu, and I’m thrilled to share that we had the pleasure of tasting them. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by their attentive service team. Both of us were served with refreshing house-made drinks—a delightful fresh lemonade and iced calamansi. Soon after, they began serving us the meticulously curated dishes of the day. For starter, 🥗Mediterranean salad 🫛Green peas soup (mint pepper flavoured thick cream peas soup with chicken broth, diced chicken thigh, and carrot foams) Meat, 🥩 Chef’s signature of 8 hours braised beef’s cheek drizzled with truffle oil with smoked scallops on truffle mashed potatoes and veggies, finished with an aromatic crustacean foam Pasta, 🦐Scallop and prawn ravioli (housemade ravioli filled with Hokkaido scallops and prawns served with cauliflower mousseline and crustace foam) Pizza, 🍕Abruzzese (minced beef and lamb with mozzarella cheese, caramelised onions, capsicum, black olives, sesame paste, tomato sauce and seasoned with cumin) Desserts, 🍋 Cannoli (south Italian deeet tubes filled with ricotta cheese, mascarpone and pistachio nuts, laid on a bed of chocolate cookies crumbles and lemon zest) We thoroughly enjoyed the delightful array of the dishes, each one was beautifully crafted and bursting with flavours, especially the chef’s special which complemented by the rich, earthy aroma of truffle oil. It stood out for its elegance presentation. Italian handmade pizza is a true masterpiece of culinary tradition that crafted with passion and precision. From hand stretched dough to fresh ingredients toppings, cheeses and sauce transforms a humble dish into an unforgettable experience in every bite. Italian cuisine here celebrates simplicity and quality, with the use of fresh ingredients and artisan cheeses creating flavours that are both comforting and sophisticated. Also, it offers their rich and diverse culinary traditions while embracing modern touches that elevate the experience. I always recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s seeking for Italian cuisine with a variety of options to choose from, nevertheless, I highly suggest dining in to experience their exceptional hospitality and top-notch service, also fresh from the kitchen serve to your table. Kthxbye.

Starter: Prawns Tartare on Diced Mango dressed with Citronette Sauce - OK. Soup: Sweet Corn Cream Soup served with Croutons - Tastes like canned corn, not appealing😶‍🌫️ Entree: Black Ink Spaghetti with Clams and Cherry Tomatoes - Flavorless and fishy, lacked salt🤮 Even neighboring diners struggled to finish it. - There was a white hair in the spaghetti🤮🤢🤢 thankfully noticeable. The servers replaced it and apologized. Refreshment: Italian Sorbet - The highlight, thoroughly enjoyed it🤤 Main Dish: Baked Seabass Filet in a Crust of Almond and Herbs - Disappointing👎🏻 Fish was coarse, lacked salt, and the paste was overly carroty. Neighbors shook their heads in agreement. Dessert: Festivity Dessert - Ermmmmm Okay? 🤧Service: Staff seemed mostly part-time and inexperienced. - A staff member amusingly asked if I needed a fork for my spaghetti. - Had to remind them twice for chili oil, which they forgot. - Requested toothpick twice, but they never delivered.

食物佳,环境美。如有人生日,还可以要求店员LIVE BAND! 非常有气氛! 是个聚餐好地方!

The atmosphere is fabulous. Dining experience was really good plus the italian owner is handsome. Staff was super friendly while taking my order. I had their special promo RM14.90 for pastas from Mondays to Fridays at 12pm to 2:30pm. Pasta was too bland for me. Portion was good for small eater. If you are a bug eater, expect to spend extra $$$ to get something yummy like pizza, etc.

Have them last year during Christmas month… i love cheese whats more they have this fresh mozarella cheese pizza thats why went to try it

If you order La Veranda Coffee in their menu, it is actually coffee made by Moka Pot. They use Lavazza beans which taste bitter when it was hot, acidic when it was cool down. 9/10 for this cup of coffee xD Paste lunch promo Rm14.90 for pasta. 4th pic was Pesto & Fish with Rigatoni. White fish taste good

Went to celebrate fam's birthday at this restaurant last week. We'd such pleasant conversation & precious enlightenment. Here's what we ordered: 1. Beef meatballs with tomato sauce & italian herbs served with lightly toasted bread pure meatballs without any mixings, sauce are mild sweet & soury. I love to dip the toasted bread into the sauce. 2. Spicy cacciucco seafood soup cacciucco means Italian spiced fish stew, there's 5c in the words meaning 5 types of different fish. The Italian cooked cacciucco based on what types seafood of the day they can find in the market. Something like China mixed fish soup. This is something new & different that any Italian restaurant would serve. The seafood (prawns, fish & musels) are fresh, soup are slightly spicy, 3. Special la veranda The pizza dough is specially made, thin crust topped with tomato sauce, Mozerella cheese, Basil & 125g of fresh Mozarella cheese. Eat while it served hot! I love the cripsy thin crust & I roll it with the fresh mozerella cheese & it melted inside. Delicious-o 4. Orecchiette alla Bolognese I've seen this online, I'm suprised I found it here! It's resembles a cat's ear shaped handmade pasta. Perfect spoonable paste. The main highlight is the sauce! It wasn't overwhelming acidity like any Bolognese I've eaten, it's sweet & sour with mildly spicy. I asked the manager if I can buy the sauce from the Chef. 5. Handmade Ravioli with ricotta cheese & spinach The shape of ravioli is like UFO, fillings in the mid, plating are exceptionally elegant. The Ravioli skin is thick, fillings are mildly taste, tomato sauce is veggie base. 6. Homemade Tiramisu People are complimenting & even highly recommend by the manager due to homemade mascarpone. Frankly, I don't taste any coffee flavours, only chocolate, mascarpone was light & fluffy though. 7. Gelato of the day There's few flavours available daily & made from scratch. Manager recommend Stracciatella which means ripped off/pulled. It taste like cookies n creme, more milky. Love it! Always looking forward for flavours available. I enjoyed Italian cuisine, they emphasized fresh ingredients & herbs to seasoning. More natural taste. Customer may add salt & pepper if they find the dishes bland or need more flavour. A pinch of salt enhance the overall taste. They accept cash, card & e-wallets for payments. Checkout my ig:_humanburrito.bki for pictures & videos.
