First time trying this with my husband due to curiosity.
We asked the staff what does she recommend since it’s our first visit. She answered me “dua, empat, tujuh, lapan” in very quick, loud & beh song tone and i am totally dumbfounded.
Then i refer back to the menu, she was actually stating the number of flavours on the menu. She probably had a rough day.
Then we just picked the no 2. smoked chicken with add on RM2 for ice lemon tea / green tea (can’t remember). Ermmm the roti is a bit chewy, hard to bite off. The fillings are a bit hmmmm. 🤔 tastes like frozen meat / sausage instead of smoked chicken.
I remembered trying similar 葱油饼 at Taiwan night market with super yummy fillings. I prefer Taiwan’s one or local mamak roti canai. 😅
