This is the one and only spot where I can still indulge in pork trotter dishes without breaking the bank. They used to offer braised pork for only MYR9.90, but those are no longer on the menu. While they’ve made some minor changes and adjusted the prices, it’s still a great deal. I went for their budget-friendly boneless pork trotter rice MYR10 only — a comforting plate of steamed white rice drenched in gravy, served with seaweed egg soup and their signature chilli on the side. The chilli pairs nicely with the fatty pork and melt effortlessly in the mouth. Kthxbye.

I stumbled upon this stall after seeing it featured on social media recently. On my first visit, they only had braised pork rice left, which was delicious. The owner mentioned I could WhatsApp him to pre-order their signature braised pork knuckle rice since it sells out quickly every day. Additionally, yam rice is available only from Friday to Sunday, with limited servings. I asked the owner if I could have the braised pork knuckles served with yam rice. I enjoyed the fats melted in my mouth, though I wished the flavours were a bit stronger. Anyhow, I would suggest to try it with white rice instead. The dish was served with fried pork lard, chopped pickled veggies, cabbage and soup of the day. They accept cash and QR pay for payment. Kthxbye.

Mr Boyfriend enjoys visiting this stall for it's famous deep fried banana fritters. The renowned flower style fritters are likeable by everyone. Due to high demand, some customer make reservations & pick up later. We waited around 20 minutes for our orders. He accept cash only. It's refreshing to pair with coconut milk & pandan jelly pudding. The stall serves an array of deep fried kuihs, he loves the deep fried mung bean! Kthxbye.

owned by a lovely couple, they sell a variety of snacks at Lido Square (just outside subway at the corner) what we tried: 🍌 banana fritters rm1.50 each (whole banana was used) 🍠 nian gao sandwiched between sweet potatoes rm2.50 each opening hours: around noon time until they are sold out! be there around 2-3pm to secure your banana fritters but do expect a 20-30mins wait 🫨

Best Mochi in town, only RM 4. QQ, milky milky, peanut crunchy yummy, fresh, come & try!

This tiny stall at Lido Square needs more attention!!! I always have their mochi (麻芝) with the most ”doink doink” mochi & super fresh peanut! 😍😍😍 they also sell popiah (normal & fried). I love both their popiah & mochi. But my favourite go to food is still their mochi. I can’t find this kind of mochi here at KK except this stall. Sometimes the mochi finish selling after dinner time. 🥲 so go buy it during evening or before 9-10pm. It is used to be RM3, now RM4 already. 🥲 this RM4 guarantee your happiness. 💖😂

our first try of sarawak laksa here in KK. 🍜 RM13: soup wasn’t quite enough as it was absorbed by the noodles by the time we started eating. 🐟 RM20: the sauce for ikan panggang is different from the ones in Pg but it was to our liking as it was well marinated you can find a variety of hawker food here & it’s usually crowded at night
