New WK Dining Suria Sabah Branch (Wong Kwok 新旺角中餐点心)

Recently visited NEW Wk in suria and the quality is no longer there anymore. On the good side its ambience is always nice to gather / dine in with fams but the downside of it it’s not value for money with their quality of food. Note: I don’t remember the entire dishes name Pic 1: The portion is huge and suitable for 3-4 pax if you’re not a big eater, but the taste of this dish I find it very unpleasant to finish because after my first bowl (small) I cannot take it anymore due to the taste of the sauce that’s not there (I couldn’t describe the exact word), and the seafood isn’t the fresh type. Pic 2: fried beancurd prawn fillings Also quality isn’t there anymore & it’s not the taste of awe, it doesn’t bring back the old memories of eating at wk Pic 3: har gao This one used to be my very favorite of the dim sum dishes and sadly to say, the taste + quality also drop gg (in mandarin description: ma ma dei) Pic 4: chee chong fun cha sao The cha sao might as well don’t put seriously, it’s like bits and pieces of cha sao and more like eating the kosong rather than with the cha sao. Sambal also not so nice 🥲 Pic 5: stir fry carrot cake Can you see from the pic here it doesn’t seem tempting to eat at all? The carrot cake very soft in texture as I pick with chopstick the carrot cake crumbled into half. Mostly it’s all flour rather than the carrot ingredients. 😰 Pic 6: fish maw soup / glutinous rice The soup taste very badly! Very bland too! I don’t feel like commenting much because the overall food is mostly -ve. I hope new wk can improve their dish because I don’t think I’m coming back to eat anymore for the time being.
