After a long day at work, there’s nothing more comforting than heading to my favourite supper place. My go-to order is always the garlic cheese naan set with chicken tandoori — and tonight’s meal was absolutely spot-on! The naan was perfectly crispy yet chewy, loaded with just the right amount of garlicky, cheesy goodness. What really made tonight stand out was the chicken tandoori. Normally, I’m used to it being a little burnt (which I’ve gotten used to), but today it was cooked beautifully — tender, juicy without being overly charred. Mr Hubby decided to try something different and ordered the Mee Goreng Mamak. Honestly, it was way better than I expected — packed with wok hei, spicy, and not too greasy. I know why this place is always bustling with people, even though the hygiene standards could use a little improvement. All in all, the food more than makes up for it. Definitely still my favourite spot for a satisfying supper! Kthxbye.

Mr Hubby knows I’m fond with cheese naan. He took me to try this mamak cheese naan, and I absolutely love it! The naan is super soft and pillowy, subtle hint of sweetness, handmade and freshly baked on the spot. Also, the chicken tandoori is well-marinated and reheated perfectly, bursting with spices flavour. Even though the cheese didn’t have that stretchy, cheesy pull, anyhow it was just perfect for me. The best part is I didn’t have to wait for too long, the whole process was reasonably quick! Instead of plain naan, he added garnish on top, which elevated the overall presentation of the dish. The cheese naan is served on an iron plate with pickled carrot, mint, sweet garlic sauce and curry. I preferred savoring the freshly baked naan these days without it being overloaded with cheese. I paired it with hot Teh Madras, though even after asking for less sugar, it still taste overly sweet. I’ve been there twice, afternoon and night time, the quality consistent still, and I’m satisfied. Kthxbye.
