For the seafood on ice, the slipper lobster is too fishy for me (maybe coz I'm not a seafood lover)

I took a good friend here as she was visiting from Melbourne. I made reservations however it wasn't necessary as it was on a weekday, there was barely anyone. We were placed near the window but soon change seats as the lighting was not good. Could barely see the food hahaha the waiter has to bring two lamps! Still wasn't helpful.
Now the food was delicious. The butternut squash salad was definitely a fav especially with that chocolate soil. I had a the duck breast which was exquisite, cooked to perfection! But the sauce didn't really compliment the duck, actually i could barely taste the flavor.
Now that Cremé Brulee, it was simply divine! Poor waiter poured us more water because he said it was sweet
My friend and I stared at him with blank expressions because isn't desserts supposed to be sweet. This norm in Sabah where desserts shouldn't be sweet but tasteless needs to be forgone! It's robbing ppl the experience of delighting in something gorgeous.
Anyway, the Cremé Brulee was perfect! We couldnt stop going uuhhhhh ahhhhh
At one point i was blabbering but My friend had gone silent from the experience of tasting something so silky and creamy.
This place is pricey. It's fine dining.
But it's an experience. Most importantly, my friend had a wonderful time.
Will be back again when there's an occasion!

最近他们换了新菜单，有很多以前好吃的都拿走了。 想安静又Private感的环境聚会可以来这里，但是食物真的没以前那么好吃了。 但还可以试一试…
我点了
Duck soup - 他们是在你的面前倒汤水进碗里，但是吃的时候汤不够热， 温的。味道就还好。
Steak - 他们的牛扒都是好吃的，这个可以两个人Share Portion， 一边聊天一边慢慢吃… 我Order Medium Well
Salmon - 这个就有点吓到我们了，Menu里只写Salmon的Dishes，完全没形容到有汤底。蛮奇怪的搭配.. 你们试了再给我留言看是不是我的问题🤧
Mushroom Pie - 这个满不错吃，我们吃的太饱然后打包一点回去弄热还是很好吃
Brownies & Ice-cream - 这个还蛮不错吃
