Best tomyum in Kota Kinabalu

One of the local's favourite & recommended for Tuaran noodle so one doesn't have to travel far. I went there twice & here's my orders Tom yum prawns with rice noodle - Tom yum soup is more sour acidic than spicy. Prawns was okay but not the freshest because mushy texture. Rice noodle was undercooked. Thai style boneless chicken feet - just average. The good part is it's boneless, easier to eat. Lihing seafood with rice noodle - barely taste the lihing, kinda bland for me. Prawns was okay, but not the freshest due to the mushy texture. Rice noodle was okay. Tuaran noodle with bbq pork (not in the picture) - have the pleasant 'wok hei' (burnt taste) Stir fried rat noodle (not in the picture) - I tapau for my family to try, despite it's cold but still good according to them. Staffs are helpful & attentive to customer's orders. The coffee shop is almost crowded with Chinese regular customers regardless weekdays or weekend. They accept cash for payments. Saw one of the reviews on the lao shu fen here & came to try one off 3 dishes! 😂 Was craving for some good tomyam and still the best tomyam I had so far in KK, had one tomyam with prawn & another with fried fish. Still prefer tomyam / fresh fish, cuz the fried fish doesn’t taste so good. While the lao shu fen taste good but got some kind of smell & kinda over oily for a stir fry dish. Lastly, Teh madras ping very nice! Not too sweet at all 👍🏻 However price is overrated la, tomyam easily cost above rm15 😰

U gonna love this for Heavy Taste Bud peeeeepol 😙❤️👅 Saw my friends reviewed this that day, and I already *star* favourite this cuz I am tempted for tomyam. The tomyam FIT ✅ - not that spicy - prawns 🦐 are fresh, maybe got 3/4 biji - super kaw soup based 🥣 Actually quite full, but die die want to try the laoshufen reviewed by @lilin0524, also FIT ✅ - wok hei ⭐️ - zhu you zha 🐽 lover you gonna like this cuz without this, there’s no “soul” 😂 - I dabao to my mom, she approved as well but must eat it hot - portion is a bit small maybe can opt to + mee next time Went there around 10am+ can easily find parking here. Staff is attentive 👍🙆🏻‍♀️ Overall is good experience. Together with my friends, 3 of us, and we ate total RM54 including 1 dabao for 4 dishes. I’m not sure how much it cost for this. But should be cheap for 4 dishes 😙

I have been searching for laoshufeng goreng in kk for a long time. Today I just randomly walked into this shop and surprisingly this is one of the best I had in kk. The wok hei is soooo on point and the taste is really good. But the portion is a bit small imo. Feel like not enough. 😂 Many people here during lunch hour but the food still served pretty quick. Definitely will be back again!

Discover new place for tomyam udang ! 😍😍😍🙆🏼‍♀️ So nice , portion just good for one person . Not too big not too small hahaha Udang very fresh , total got 5 pcs Soup based is more to sour bit Located at sinsuran area abit hard to find parking & many "bird shit " need jaga2 extra present from the sky hahahaha Rm13 for this bowl if no misstake

This is my first time here. Saw it on SabahReview nearby me. Trying to step out of my comfort zone. Omg this is so good. This is the type of shop that you pass by but don't dare to go in cos don't know nice or not. I ordered tuaran mee. Its so good. Not oily. Got the 'wok' taste. The cashier aunty is very friendly. Quick to service and serve the food very fast. Like too fast. From outside looks dodgy. But you notice the place is clean once you walk in. And its worth it.
