Sri Maju Steamboat

I believe their specialty are the grouper steamboat , depends on the types of grouper they offer. The restaurant itself not so well decorated, it looks more on old-fashioned steamboat house. Me and my boo had 龙趸 or 鲈趸, 600grams for two person. We also ordered some fresh fishballs, sliced beef, fish maw, spinach and taro rice. The steamboat came in herbal soup base with fish slices and some veggies then we add everything in it which made the soup more ‘kaw’, also came with the condiments of cili padi, soy sauce and sesame oil. The fish slices were alright, springy and tender although I had better to be honest but it was nice dipped in the condiments ; the other food also was tasted better dipped in the condiments; as for the taro rice, also tasted better after add on some condiments. We also ordered fish liver and fried fish eggs, for fish liver hmm not my taste but my boo thinks it’s not bad and for the fried fish egg, it had hints of curry powder to them, paired with sweet chili sauce tasted not bad too. Must say tho the prices were on higher side, two person’s damage around RM265. Okay lah if for once in a while trying something new.

The most delicious yam rice so far tasted at kk, the taste very close to Penang yam rice taste. The steamboat soup base very special, taste like herbs inside and with yam also. The fish also very fresh and big slice, it’s order by grams. The beef also 1 of my favourite. *Forgot to take photo of the fish, busy eat after it’s cooked 😂

Fish Steamboat match with their signature yam rice ! Taste so fresh so yummy and healthy ! they got their home-made fish ball also nice so "boink boink" Price is reasonable , you can bring ur family come. Old people also can eat. Located at asia city KK.
