Always wanted to go for a steamboat on rainy day, and it’s the perfect time recently. When you walk inside the shop, It looks like mini mart, selling all the prepared food ingredients and sauces (well packed in plastic container) for steamboat. They do take away too / order through Grab if you want to set up your own steamboat at home. We chose to sit indoor (2nd floor) as it’s raining heavily outside and that’s what we ordered: 1) Double Soup (Mala & Tomato) - RM28 2) 3 Sec Ring Roll (4pcs) - RM5.50 3) Chinese Cabbage - RM4.90 4) Mushroom Platter - RM7.50 5) Tofu - RM3.90 6) Cheese Bursting Pork Ball (4pcs) - RM6.90 7) Cheese Bursting Fish Ball (4pcs) - RM4.90 8) Cheese Tofu (4pcs) - RM3.90 9) Premium Cuttlefish Paste - RM11.90 10) Konnyaku Knot - RM4.50 11) Quall Eggs (10pcs) - RM9.90 12) Pork Belly Slices - RM7.90 13) Australia Beef Slices - RM11.90 14) Australia Lamb Slices - RM11.90 15) Shandy X 2 - RM9 Total bills RM132.50 (no service charge applied) The tomato soup was okay (but my friend told me that 一品天下tasted better) while Mala soup was disappointing as it’s not authentic and spicy but rather on the salty side. The quality of the food ingredient however was nicer compared to some other steamboat shop (except Premium Cuttlefish Paste, don’t order that!). What surprised us was the tofu and cheese bursting ball, quality sure was better. Hope the portion was bigger though. The shop is run by two young man (leng zai with 180cm at least 🤣) and environment was surprisingly comfortable for a steamboat shop (less 油烟气).
