Siew Yuk Nasi Lemak: Siew Yuk, skin crispy crispy, meat tender & juicy, bagus sekali!!!
Side dishes special.
Today the rice a bit wet
Chicken Wing - crispy with liitle sour
Others are last year photoes, coz i stop visiting after having once tough siew yuk last Aug.
Still rmb I was the 1st table of customer that day, the staff hesitated while i ordered the siew yuk, he was not sure whether the meat is ready. After checking, he accepted my order. But the Siew Yuk was tough, like reheating the one from the day before.
Anyway, there are second chance in life.
Must try fresh Siew Yuk here ! !

It’s Father’s Day yesterday, so I assumed most restaurants will be fully booked, thus decided to order from Foodpanda instead🫢
Husband was craving for creamy pasta, I suggested The Hive since we had quite good food experience at their restaurant most of the time.
🍝 Creamy Salmon Pasta
Would be better if they use fettuccine instead😋 But the salmon chunks as you can see is just few small biji. Still, taste wise very tasty, portions was okay, anyway maybe dine in will be better😋

Boleh lah, but abit too pricey.

Had a dinner last night 11/5/22 to eat their steaks / salmon but they no longer serve main dishes like this due to small crowd.
So they only have rice bowl, salads, pastas, and that’s all if I remember correctly? Basically my friends & I were looking for a dinner without carbs - fitness discipline 🤭 unfortunately there weren’t anything without carbs so I had to ask for an improvise.
I asked the waiter if we can order the rice bowl without the rice, he said yup can. The only thing they can replace is to add more “vege”, if add more “meat” extra charges implied.
So we went ahead and ordered salmon terriyaki as picture number 2, looks nice right? But the portion was as if it’s a lot, actually it took us finish this bowl less than 10 minutes 🥲 it’s not filling at all hahah and it cost us rm25 for this - price the same with / without rice. So does considered expensive la.
The “cai tao kueh” (picture 1) taste alright, but it could taste better if it’s warm and it cost around Rm6 🙃 could easily get this at market for rm2. It’s ok different “feel” ma hahah once is enough.
Pasta not much comment, basically taste good.

My siblings and I went to this place last December and may I just say that this is a great place but with inconspicuous location (at least for my siblings and I), cuz it's not a place we would stopped by or purposely go to, unless we literally have no plans at all for the day.
So, what did we have...? 😏
1. Creamy Salmon Pasta
- Generous amount of salmon chunks. Yes, it's not salmon shreds 🤤 Mushroom gave the umami flavour.
2. Tomato Meatball Pasta
- Generous amount of meatballs, and not just the typical 3 pieces of meatballs, but my brother said it's slightly dry, overall still tasted good.
3. Pork Lasagna
- Cheesy and juicy 😍 Piping hot, my sister hasfsfsfsffsfsf on her first few bites.
4. Earl Grey Cake
- The earl grey very fragrant. I'm not typical an earl grey girl, but sharing a slice of cake between 3 person, definitely not enough 😂
Overall, everything was well-seasoned. Pasta was cooked just about right, I said this before and I'll say it again, one can never went wrong while just boiling the pasta alone. Anyways, they do have other food besides pasta, they have a variety of food on their menu. The aunty who was at our service, very sweet lady 💯

It's a nice and cozy place to have a peaceful meal without any Kopitiam uncle spitting saliva into your delicious food and coffee. They have free basement parking too, don't be afraid to scream if you're in trouble because I think there is no security there. But the food is good here and so is the coffee. Ohsemm!
