During my second visit, I discovered that they had introduced a lunch promo & some side dishes with affordable price.
Here's what we ordered:
Sashimi with rice set - I was bit disheartened as they had run out of hamachi & substituted with maguro belly.
The salmon lost it's vibrant orange colour on the ice. The maguro had a tough texture.
The miso soup was decent, the chawan mushi containing shrimp, mushrooms, chicken, naruto & imitation crab meat, despite the savory taste but couldn't taste the egg though.
Chicken teriyaki bento set - The takoyaki was excessively greasy & couldn't swallow it. The teriyaki chicken was okay. Anyhow, the tamagoyaki was savoury instead of sweet.
Inari aburi mentai - roasted cod roe mayo on sweet bean curd sushi. I enjoy the rice portion given was small because I can taste the sweetness from the bean curd instead of just rice.
I enjoy having natto with my rice. They used the crushed natto (hikawari) which is the most common type at Japan.
Service was okay. I was given a MYR3 voucher for my next dine in. They accept cash, card & e-wallets for payment.

One of cheapest Japanese in town! It was located at Market 88 1st floor opposite MR DIY, although the ambiance for my personally is so so but the food is not letting me down.
Staff is friendly & super helpful too, i was greated by the owner herself from the Restaurant entrance 😍🫶

Price range like Azuma Sushi, so一分钱一分货, the price tells the quality.
The sushi rice is bland, sweet & ori soy sauce available, as well as the 7 spices chilli powder. Wasabi is the less aroma type, like the little pack tat u can get at pick n pay.
The 1st Katsu Temaki surprised me as the chicken cutlet is hot & crunchy, so i ordered one more, but the later one is not hot dy, average only.
