This used to have the most authentic & best pork ramen at KK. They launched pork free menu officially April ago. They performed 'sertu', an Islamic purification act to wash the utensils & equipments with soil mixed water 7 times. These pictures are throwback my last visit during March. Gonna miss it a lot! Taste alright. First try too. My wife @Vyonnelim ordered the aori ramen, rm30. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered the karagae, rm12. Ramen texture is really good. Meat is tasty, comes with half egg, seaweed and spring onion. It tastes heavy for me. Small portion tho. Karagae comes with a slice of lemon, few slices of cucumber and mayo. Hmm, OK la, just normal fried chicken, thigh meat. Generous portion. Place is comfortable. But not really clean, can see dust and watermark on the seats and some corner here and there. I'm fine with it, not here for spot check. Cool thing is there's single seat (in last pic), won't feel awkward if you eating alone. Quiet environment.

Aori Ramen inside Jesselton ( near Pound ) open for may be over a year... but tonight only got the chance to try ! haha 🤣 ! Noodles very chewy , taste good ! The soup based very " Kaw " .. when eat until the end , may be will feel too kaw ! :D Karage is fresh . Too bad their Gyoza sold out tonight

Decided to try this restaurant for the first time. Broth was okay but the ramen & pork slices are good. Hopefully the ramen broth / soup can be more kaw. 😅 The add on pork slices & gyoza were yummy, just that they were rather oily. After we had it, they are oil leftover on the plate. 🙂 Service is good. Quiet ambiance.

There's no many Japanese restaurants at KK serve ramen with good quality pork broth. If yes, only Aori Ramen. Despite limited choices of menu, yet they emphasise their signature dishes, ramen with creamy & savoury pork broth. I always order Tamago Kake Gohan & mix the rice with the pork broth. Sadly, they aren't allow for the broth refill, nor they accept extra charge if customer requests. Extra 5 pcs of Char Siu for meself, love the fats melt in the mouth. Spicy chicken boxing have crunchy outer, but salty! Matcha pudding with evaporated milk on the house, & free flow hot green tea. Their interior design provided personal space for the customers/guests to have private time & enjoy with their love one. Each table have curtains rod or individual seating.
