Ampersand was one of the great coworking place in Kota Kinabalu, because of the silence and huge space can walk around and friendly barista.
If anyone did notice they actually closed down for weeks..
This was my last cup of Irish coffee here since last month..not sure they will come back or not..their silence is because not much customer..its a pros but also cons..sad lehh lost a great cafe

The story is like this, they dont have enough material for Irish Coffee while I order then only I been told that there’s some hidden menu..
So it was Guinness Draught coffee ☕️
You can pick to use small beaker to pour in your double shots expresso or throw into stout with shot glass.
I picked shot glass way 😂Stout taste too strong until you cant feel any coffee inside
Price I wont reveal here u have to ask the barista xD

Yay! I finally tried their Irish coffee that tastes really good, which only costs me RM17.60! Highly recommend. No doubt!

Really good cup of coffee, love the nutty chocolaty taste of the coffee. Few who knows how to make a right flat white. Satisfied and great cup to kick start your morning.
Downside is the location is kinda hard to find for first timer like us tourist and less food choice. Will visit again for coffee!

Single shot hot latte tbh just 6/10 becoz really less coffee taste..becoz hot latte had more milk so just milk taste alot more..you could try double shots when u want hot latte..
From what their barista said they had changed to single origin beans so if can everytime u guys drink coffee here can add one shot, by default they are one shot

Having a cup of flat white here. Personally think that flat white still ok maybe due to only 1 shot of espresso.
But it was a blessed day becoz they actually making cakes and have extra Baileys Irish Cream so they gave me the extra one for free (pic2), it was a type of liqueur used to make dessert so it tasty alil bit sweet when u drink it🤣 but still thanks for this experience, thats my first try on it.
Just can’t express how blessed that day was xD

There’s two cup of Irish Coffee, the left one is without syrup and cocoa powder, right one is normal irish coffee at Ampersand.
When the barista is preparing Irish coffee, they will create the final milk foam in front of you, adding a sense of ceremony.
Love the environment there where I am able to work quite focus there. And huge space for me to walk here walk there. cc @jianzhi

Their irish coffee got two style, with or without sugar, i tried the sugar one. Actually if you don't stir it (the brown powder), it is mostly black coffee + rum. I quite like it, not that strong also (at least i didn't blush, like the other one 😂, that keep walking back and fro, maybe high liao). RM18 for 1 cup is quite okay the price, i actually prefer this to starbucks, bc got alcohol ma.

Tried their coconut espresso, single shot espresso. Its my first attempt and the taste macam not so suit me… it taste more towards acid becoz the coconut also quite sweet or acidic taste one?
But the coconut meat with espresso taste really taste good.. I wish the coconut got more meat for real
