That moment I saw Nishiki’s July lunch bento value set pop up on my social media homepage, I immediately knew where I go for my weekend brunch date. After being seriously let down and disgusted by another Japanese restaurant I’d dine in recently, I was deeply craving a wonderful meal that could redeem my love for Japanese food—and Nishiki delivered beautifully. We arrived right at 12pm afternoon and the place was already buzzing, every table filled with people happily tucking into their lunch sets when we entered. We grabbed a spot near the entrance and watched as trays of beautiful bentos made their way out of the kitchen. My anticipation was sky-high, and when my set arrived, I couldn’t help but amazed like a little kid. The sashimi? Perfection. Gorgeously thick cut of salmon belly, glistening with just the right amount of marbling. Each bite melted on my tongue—fresh, buttery, divine. The pork skewers were solid cuts of juicy meat (not minced), wrapped in a crisp, golden breadcrumb coating, drizzled with a sweet glaze. Every bite was satisfying, with that perfect balance of crunch and tenderness. The entire set was generous, fresh, and frankly such a steal for the price. It washed away my awful experience and reminded me why I love Japanese food so much. Cravings? Satisfied. Heart? Fulfilled. Wallet? Still smiling. Kthxbye.

Totally satisfying meal😍😍😘😘😘😋😋😋 Taste: 9.5/10 Excellent surprising portion of Sashimi!!! 2pcs 2-2.3cm thick Salmon, 1 pc 1cm thick Red Tuna, 4 pcs COTD. The red snapper today super fresh & crunchy!!!!!!! Totemo Oiishii~~ If can serve the Sashimi on ice, i can enjoy slowly, lagi best! Pork skewer thick thick yet tender when hot hot, good coating, not oily, nice texture Miso soup many ingredients inside, got minced meat, quite salty for me, but nice Rice today cannot, quite dry & hard, so deduct 0.5 marks The staff informed this set lunch available during weekend oso Affordable reasonable price, mari mari~ Juz be patient, then u can get a parking lot dy Mari mari, usually New Nishiki kuat mahal, grab the value set lunch now ya, dunno this offer last for how long ya

it has been some time they moved up to Iramanis.. the last time I went was when they were still in Jalan Gaya.. those last few years in Jalan Gaya, wasn't as good as the olden Nishiki.. Now, Nishiki "taste" is almost there, though not exactly the olden taste.. but still the quality ingredients.. though I wouldn't recommend the salmon skin which wasn't crunchy at all.. the rest as acceptable as standard..

It’s mother-daughter bonding day, and my mom was craving for Japanese cuisine, so I brought her to Nishiki. Unfortunately, the experience and meals was utmost disappointed. The valuable lunch sets were no longer available, so we ordered à la carte from the menu. We ordered… Una don set with miso soup (charcoal grilled eel on rice) Shake Chazuke (charcoal grilled salmon risotto) Kaki Teppanyaki 4 pcs Tamago and salmon mentai sushi Dashi Chazuke is a Japanese simple dish with cooked rice and soaked with Dashi (traditional Japanese broth cooked with kombu and bonito). We were expected a hearty serving of unagi and salmon, somehow it were far smaller. Both were served with a large portion of rice and I couldn’t finish it. The kaki teppanyaki was on special, so I decided to order it for both my mom and me. Unfortunately, it tasted gritty, like there was sand in it. Yucks! While the service was decent, overall, the dining experience was completely missed the mark. Kthxbye.

Nishiki has updated their lunch set menu. While the portions seem smaller than before, I still enjoyed the sashimi set. I also tried the teppanyaki kaki (oyster) as an addition, though it was smaller than expected, it tasted great. Kthxbye.

I'd dreadful dining experience at Nishiki several years back then. After numerous positive reviews, I give it another try, it did not disappointed. I ordered Set Lunch C Sashimi Mariowase Tsukune Teriyaki Agedashi tofu Onsen Tamago Generous & expertly sliced of assorted sashimi (maguro, hamachi & salmon), prepared with an irresistibly thick cut. Mr Boyfriend ordered Set Lunch B Salmon Kuwayaki Beef Korokke Gardens salad He loves the beef croquette very much. Tender minced beef mixed with cheese, deep fried to crispy golden & perfection. Each set served with a bowl of steamed white rice & hot miso soup. These lunch sets menu has definitely justifies its price tag completely. They've updated new lunch menu already with new prices in their WhatsApp. They accept cash, card & e-wallets for payments. Limited parking spaces. Checkout my ig;_humanburrito.bki for pictures & videos. Kthxbye

I think their lunch set is very worth it, i orderes the set lunch A, the portion is large, i do think it can feed two small stomach people. I like the salmon more, with sweet sauce. Can't comment on other set as I don't eat raw, but the portion is large as i saw. P.S. Don't sit on outside table preferably, as during the noon there are so many flies flying around, super annoying.

Sashimi: Not Red Tuna, so switched to butter fish. Nice portion, fresh ingredients, nice value. I prefer to have ice for serving Sashimi as these 10 pcs required some times to finish for 1 pax. And also, prefer to have the grated japanese white radish (daikon oroshi 白萝卜泥) Sashimi is served with real wasabi which is not spicy, if u request more, u"ll get sashimi paste which comes with pungent punch. Salmon fin oily, sweet sweet sweet Miso soup big bowl Onsen Tamago nice My friend said beef korokke nice. Very limited parking space. 。。。

Ordered their Sashimi Set. Tbh this portion is for two person🤣 Sashimi Moriawase comes with 6 pieces of raw tuna and 4 raw salmon, the sashimi quite thick also. Come with quite large portion of white carrots. Salmon Kama Kuwayaki, is actually pan-fried salmon with sweet and savory sauce made with soy sauce, mirin and sake. Quite oily and over sweet for me. I rather sacrifice this for more sashimi🤣 Their onsen tamago(hot spring egg) not salty, can consider the best I had in KK. Miso soup also they use white carrot to sweeten the soup, not bad. 7th pic is their lunch set menu for u all refer ya. Its my first time been here after they move to Iramanis, shop slightly smaller compare previous one. Price is Rm39 after tax is Rm45.24

I’ve always like Nishiki’s food since their first branch in Gaya Street. Nowadays it’s very hard to find such good quality of Japanese food with this price. A VERY REASONABLE PRICE. Recommendation: 1. Sashimi!! Kindly ask for the seasonal catch as well. 2. Miso soup 3. Mix vege with glass noodle the portion is big, so big.
